About the project
In this project I was responsible for mixing the album, Sang og samling, by Wøldike. I received the raw files, and made a session template in Pro Tools. I got a reference playlist, that I could use as inspiration during the process.
The music genre was a whole new territory for me personally, but therefore also quite exiting. It was important that the creativity of the artist would be reflected in the mix, so that it wouldn’t just sound like any other pop mix. This was done by playing around with different processing, especially reverb combined with feedback.
The final result was sent to a mastering engineer, before release, and the recording itself had been done by the band.
